Number Recognition

Initially a Racket script that measured and compared the Euclidian distance between given handwritten digits and a set of training data to return the closest match

Converted to a Python application using the MNIST database to learn and Matplotlib to visualize

Two approaches implemented – Simple approach with a trained Scikit-Learn Neural Network, and a Gradient/Backpropagation approach using NumPy to manually train a small network and predict results

MineSweeper

Java implementation of the Minesweeper game

Uses the World javalib big-bang functionality to run the game and update states as it progresses

Uses the World Image class to animate the game and mouse onClick listeners to control

Bakery Time Manager

Developed Java CLI application to aid local bakery manage and reward employee task completion in real time

Utilized Apache POI to dynamically update employee performance rating and bakery stock

Maintained several excel files with relevant information, statistics, and analytics

EPFL R2T2 Mars Mission

Collaborated with 10 other mission specialists at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne chosen to teach students Thymio robotics and programming basics

Led and organized efforts of 16 robotics teams across 3 continents in completing a mission-to-mars inspired activity

Required understanding of Aseba studio, VPL, and French/English
